Spring is in Shanghai. In the spring of March when hundreds of birds are singing, in the international metropolis of Shanghai, textile people from all over the world gather in one city to integrate the advantages of the entire textile industry chain, to further expand the global market, and to accelerate the international layout of the textile industry.
On March 16, the China Textile International Capacity Cooperation Enterprise Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) held a grand launching ceremony and officially unveiled at the Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel.
Wu Hongliang, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, first delivered a speech. He put forward opinions and suggestions on the work of the Alliance on building a bridge for government-enterprise cooperation, building a comprehensive service platform, and helping enterprises to regulate their behavior, strengthen cross-industry cooperation, and enhance the discourse power of my country's textile industry. At the same time, it was pointed out that the member enterprises of the Alliance should take into account both the international and domestic markets, give play to their competitive advantages, make up for their shortcomings, integrate upstream and downstream resources, and "lead the small with the big" to develop together. The Alliance is a service platform approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, initiated by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, and voluntarily participated by enterprises, groups and service agencies related to the entire textile and clothing industry chain. The establishment of the alliance and the development of service coordination work have been guided and strongly supported by the National Development and Reform Commission, and have been included in the National Development and Reform Commission's coordinated promotion of international capacity cooperation and project docking mechanism. Deputy Director Wu Hongliang said that the National Development and Reform Commission will work with various departments to support the alliance and provide better services for textile enterprises to go global.
Sun Ruizhe, President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, said in his speech that the establishment of the alliance is a strategic layout issue for China and also a resonance of industry colleagues. At present, China's textile industry output exceeds half of the world's total, and exports have reached 300 billion US dollars. The "Belt and Road" of "joint consultation, joint construction and sharing" has risen to a national strategy, and "going global" has become an inevitable move for the industry to create new advantages in international competition. Sun Ruizhe proposed that the alliance secretariat should be brave to take responsibility, amplify the support function through the platform system, serve wholeheartedly for the global interests of alliance members, and contribute to the healthy and sustainable international cooperation layout of the industry.
Xu Yingxin, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, presided over the meeting and introduced the background and service system of the alliance. The founding ceremony adopted the "China Textile International Capacity Cooperation Enterprise Alliance Charter" and elected 23 vice-chairmen. (The list of alliance members and the list of the board of directors are attached later) The alliance member conference elected Gao Yong, secretary of the Party Committee and secretary-general of the China Textile Industry Federation, as the chairman of the China Textile International Capacity Cooperation Enterprise Alliance, Xu Yingxin, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, as the executive chairman of the alliance, and Lin Yunfeng, director of the International Trade Office of the China Textile Industry Federation and vice president of the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as the secretary-general of the alliance. Afterwards, Gao Yong, secretary of the China Textile Federation, Sun Ruizhe, president, Wu Hongliang, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and all vice-chairmen unveiled the alliance.
Su Xiao, president of Shandong Ruyi Group, and Tong Jisheng, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Shanghai Textile (Group) Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of the alliance enterprises. Su Xiao said that at present, Ruyi Group has formed an international industrial layout centered on Shandong and radiating the world, forming a complete wool textile industry chain from wool to yarn, fabrics and clothing. In recent years, Ruyi has been unswervingly taking the route of technology and high-end, independently cultivating the high-end fabric brand Royal Ruyi; creating branded and internationalized Ruyi, establishing a brand cluster, currently operating multiple brands in Japan, and acquiring the French light luxury group. She said that in the future, Ruyi will use the Internet as a tool and big data as a support to forge ahead and work together with industry peers. Shanghai Textile Group has conducted in-depth exploration and practice of "going out", including improving its position and laying out international development from a high starting point; focusing on core advantages, walking on two legs, and solidly promoting the internationalization of the industry. Tong Jisheng said that globalization is a historical necessity and trend, and "going out" is the only way for the sustainable development of China's textile industry. Alliance cooperation and group going overseas are the successful shortcuts for the internationalization and capacity cooperation of China's textile industry. Gao Yong*, chairman of the China Textile International Capacity Cooperation Enterprise Alliance, said that the alliance is a non-profit service platform for the industry's "Belt and Road" international cooperation led by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, aiming to create a global community of interests for China's textile industry. After the establishment of the alliance, it will serve the alliance members to "go global" better and healthier, take on the basic responsibility of guiding market-oriented corporate investment to be consistent with the national strategy of "One Belt, One Road", build a smooth channel between domestic preferential financial resources and corporate overseas financing needs, connect alliance members with real overseas high-quality resources, and strive to reliably protect the overseas interests of members.
